Elation Pictures is a UK-based production company set up by Emilie Jouffroy and Kamilla Kristiane Hodøl, and selected by the British Film Institute as one of the foremost new production companies in the UK in the context of their 2016 Vision Awards.

Emilie and Kamilla’s credits include award-winning shorts such as EDMOND (Winner BAFTA Best Animation, BIFA Best Short Film, and Sundance Best Animation), MANOMAN (BAFTA and BIFA nominated, Official Selection at Cannes Cinefondation, Sundance and SXSW) and DIAGNOSIS (Short of the Week and Vimeo Staff Pick). In 2017, their feature film TIDES premiered at the BFI London Film Festival, and they recently co-produced acclaimed director Marco Martins’ new feature.

Elation Pictures’ current slate includes projects in development with the BFI, BBC Film, and Screen Ireland.

Both Emilie and Kamilla are graduates of the MA in Producing at the National Film and Television School, and have taken part in talent schemes including iFeatures, Guiding Lights, the Edinburgh International Film Festival Talent Lab, and the Nordic Genre Boost. 

Elation have also co-produced and service produced on projects originated by other companies or producers, including on the Fox/ National Geographic series COSMOS: POSSIBLE WORLDS and several projects from prolific Norwegian company, FilmBros, and welcome any such project proposals.
